CNC Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team at The Slabe Machine Products. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming Multi Axis - Turn Mill machines, setting up, and adjusting the machines settings.

• Develop instructions for machinists to follow.
• Review 3D CAD design blueprints to ensure accuracy.
• Perform calculations for programming, including determining where materials should be cut.
• Translate instructions into a computer-automated manufacturing (CAM / Part maker) program.
• Communicate with engineers and clients who will use the programs.
• Verify completed programs by running simulations or tests.
• Prepare geometric layouts of designs using proper software.
• Determine the sequence of operations in a program.
• Select cutting tools that will be needed.
• Analyze job orders and perform necessary calculations.
• Write programs and modify existing ones for increased efficiency.
• Analyze and select speeds and cutting tools for programs.
• Improve setup times for tasks and contouring of complex shapes.
• Simplify tooling time for workers and increase productivity for clients.
• Evaluate all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for clients.
• Monitor all programs to ensure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task.
• Provide training for clients on automated systems.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
