At ScionHealth, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our medical surgical team at Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications, perform assessments, collect specimens, and provide clinical treatments as part of the plan of care.
- Document patient care given and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborate with the care team to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluate patient learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Requirements:
- Associate in Nursing (ASN) degree or equivalent.
- Current LPN licensure.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, part-time, and PRN.
