Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Assistant to join our team at Dana F. Cole & Company, LLP. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional bookkeeping and payroll services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely bookkeeping services, including financial statement preparation and general ledger maintenance.
  • Manage payroll services, including employee data entry and benefit administration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and employees.
  • Lead employees to maximize performance and ensure accurate work.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in accounting and payroll.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll services.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Desire to work in a public accounting firm.
