Diesel Equipment Maintenance Specialist

We offer an attractive compensation package with an estimated salary of $42,000 per year, plus a retention bonus of $10,000, making your total compensation $52,000 annually. You will also receive an annual tool allowance, medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance benefits starting day one.
The job entails overseeing the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of fleet road equipment, ensuring compliance with State and Federal trucking regulations. Your responsibilities include documenting maintenance logs, performing road rescue when needed, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
This role involves a high level of technical expertise, requiring proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex diesel equipment, including tractors, trailers, reefers, lift gates, and other vehicles. You must be able to troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently, adhering to company standards and safety guidelines.
You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and performing administrative tasks related to shop operations. Additionally, you may be required to backup other maintenance shop personnel and assume increased responsibility and certifications as needed.
To excel in this position, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to manage multiple functions simultaneously, and effective communication skills. Experience in administering preventative maintenance programs, working in fast-paced environments, and adapting to changing organizational needs is essential.
