About the Role

This full-time position is responsible for executing and maintaining front-end and pharmacy inventory best practices, ensuring accurate product quantities and pricing. You'll work closely with team members to identify operational issues and implement strategies to resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes, including receiving orders and managing inventory levels.
  • Verify all pharmacy shipments are posted accurately, completing or verifying postings of daily warehouse orders, ABC prescription and OTC orders, secondary vendor orders, flu and dropship orders, and reporting any shortages or damaged products.
  • Complete On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end process, including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD) for planogrammed departments, executing disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before expiration, and scan outs/scan outs returns on subscribed departments.
  • Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, complete pharmacy inventory activities, including pharmacy recalls following Pharmacy Hazardous Waste Policy, vendor returns, non-controlled, and damaged salvage returns, and facilitate excess inventory returns or interstore pharmacy transfers where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure the store maintains inventory compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Assist in the maintenance of inventory records, including receiving and posting of all products received at the store in all inventory systems, and organize files and retain all invoices/receipts/return authorizations necessary for all inventory activities.
Requirements
  • Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task and manage execution.
  • Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
