About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our retail team at Triangle Stop. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Interaction:
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, ensuring their needs are met and they have a positive experience.
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries, complaints, and requests, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Promote store promotions and deals to customers, increasing sales and driving business growth.
Cash Handling and Operations:
  • Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Count and balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and process returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed, adhering to company policies.
Store Maintenance and Organization:
  • Restock shelves, refrigerators, and other displays with products, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Ensure the store is clean and organized, including tidying up the sales floor, counters, and backroom, meeting health and safety standards.
  • Dispose of trash, sweep, and perform light cleaning tasks as required, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels, alerting management when stock is low or approaching expiration dates.
  • Check for expired products and rotate stock as needed, minimizing waste and ensuring product freshness.
  • Assist with receiving shipments and organizing back stock, maintaining efficient inventory processes.
Safety and Security:
  • Familiarize yourself with security and loss prevention policies, reporting any suspicious activity or incidents to management.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines within the store, prioritizing employee and customer well-being.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous cashier or retail experience is an asset but not required.
  • Essential Skills:
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register accurately.
    • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift products up to 30 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market conditions. However, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes benefits and opportunities for career growth.
