I. Job Overview

As a CDL Roll-off Driver with Waste Management, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.

II. Key Responsibilities

* Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations
* Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using standard DVIR
* Immediately report any unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch
* Participate in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Route Manager
* Work closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts
* Perform all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed
* Notify Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage
* Notify Dispatch or Route Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol
* Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager

III. Qualifications

* Commercial Drivers License B (CDL)
* Acceptable driving record required
* Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
