Job Summary:

The Cashier position at Oak View Group is a part-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and handling cash transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve concession items to guests, including beverages and food.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including disposal of garbage and cleaning dishes.
  • Listen to customer requests and concerns, and respond in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Serve beverages to guests, including alcoholic beverages, and verify minimum age requirement for purchase.
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Three or more months of experience in the food service industry preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn to handle cash and operate a cash register and corresponding system.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, volunteers, and guests.
