Nurse Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Blood Donor Center team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical, educational, and administrative activities of the Blood Donor Center, Blood Donor Mobile Units, Apheresis Collections, and the Component Processing Lab.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in blood donor collection. Additional experience in Apheresis or Dialysis and/or critical care experience is highly desirable.
As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the Blood Donor Center. This includes supervising staff, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate clinical, educational, and administrative activities of the Blood Donor Center, Blood Donor Mobile Units, Apheresis Collections, and the Component Processing Lab.
- Supervise staff, including RNs, lead apheresis techs, apheresis techs, and component processing techs.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Blood Donor Center, including staffing, logistics, and record-keeping.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and Administrative Director to develop and implement policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in blood donor collection.
- Additional experience in Apheresis or Dialysis and/or critical care experience highly desirable.
