Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bryan Health. As a key member of our patient care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients and supporting the Registered Nurses in their duties.

About the Role

In this role, you will contribute to an efficient and effective work environment by assessing and participating in interdisciplinary care planning, providing delegated care, and timely communication of the patient's response. You will also be responsible for executing therapeutic and/or supportive interventions under the direction of the RN and providing education for the patient and family to meet identified patient needs.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and reassess patients based on presenting problems/needs in accordance with Bryan Medical Center's procedures.
  • Communicate pertinent initial and ongoing patient data to the RN for identification of nursing priorities of care and desired outcomes/goals.
  • Utilize appropriate standards of care based on the patient's diagnosis and age-specific needs.
  • Execute therapeutic and/or supportive interventions under the direction of the RN.
  • Provide education for the patient and family to meet identified patient needs according to their needs, abilities, preferences, and readiness to learn.
  • Participate in the evaluation of the patient's response to and effectiveness of interventions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a School of Practical Nursing with current licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
Estimated Salary Range

$62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
