Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our educational team in Texas. This role involves providing direct therapy services to elementary students with speech and language needs under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

About the Position

This SLPA position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting students' communication and academic success. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).

Educational Requirements

A minimum of 1+ years of experience working in speech therapy is required. A valid Texas SLPA license and an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field are also necessary. Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary students as directed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of therapy sessions and materials.
  • Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
  • Provide support in classroom activities and collaborate with teachers to integrate communication strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress and needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow all school and district policies.

Benefits and Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Soliant offers a competitive compensation package, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
