Job Summary:

As a Computerized Tomography Technologist at AdventHealth, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. This role requires a strong understanding of radiologic technology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary
Screen patients for any contrast allergies and properly educate them concerning the exam
Complete all exams in a timely manner, keeping work flow moving and minimizing empty table time
Operate all imaging equipment safely and properly, minimizing radiation exposure to patients, families, and co-workers
Maintain a clean and organized room, and perform vendor required QA on CT scanners

Requirements:

Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field
Completion of radiologic technology training and A.R.R.T. registration
Computed Tomography A.R.R.T. (CT) certification if required by facility
General radiographer state license as required by state if required by facility
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
