Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Specialist to join our team at DC Water. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the asset portfolio at the Blue Plains facility, ensuring the maintenance and upkeep of industrial and process-related equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Portfolio Management: Manage the condition assessment program for all assets at Blue Plains, evaluating their current state in terms of performance, age, design, construction methods, and materials.
  • Condition Analysis: Perform walk-through inspections and mathematical modeling to forecast maintenance needs and optimize asset performance.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data to determine baselines for rehabilitation and replacement projects for equipment and processes at Blue Plains, and use this data during annual ten-year CIP planning review meetings with engineering.
  • Criticality Ranking System: Develop and maintain a criticality ranking system for assets based on their importance to operations and impact on service delivery, facilitating criticality ranking and RCM workshops for new CIP projects.
  • Asset Database Management: Manage the asset database in Maximo, including adding new assets, updating asset information, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience: Five (5) years of progressive experience relating to the maintenance and upkeep of a wide variety of industrial and process-related equipment.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance management of water and wastewater infrastructure or industrial process-related equipment, Asset Management, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo preferred), and Document Management Systems.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
