Job Summary:

The Store Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in driving profitability for one RaceTrac store and leading up to 45 employees. This position requires a strong focus on friendly service, food execution, cleanliness, talent building, and driving success.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Friendly Service: Establish an environment of prompt, efficient, and courteous service by effectively engaging in conflict management and promoting positive relationships with coworkers, direct reports, guests, and vendors.
  • Food Execution: Drive excellence in food service by executing designed processes, implementing sales and margin goals, ensuring product quality, and utilizing training resources.
  • Cleanliness: Encourage and manage a high standard of store cleanliness while adhering to all safety regulations, including food safety guidelines.
  • Talent Building: Demonstrate RaceTrac's Core Values of Honesty, Efficiency, Positive Attitude, Respect, and Teamwork, displaying Leadership Qualities through servant-leadership, prioritization, proactive problem-solving, and respectful communication.
  • Driving Success: Strategically direct control of inventory, review financial statements, identify areas for operational improvements, and develop relationships with vendors to ensure efficient deliveries.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED in progress or completed.
  • 5+ years of prior food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience; retail management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills in analyzing overall financial performance, including profit and loss statements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven knowledge of Labor Laws and staffing best practices.
