Become a leader in the field of nursing education as a Simulation Director at BJC HealthCare.
About the RoleThe Simulation Director is responsible for advancing and integrating technology-facilitated teaching and learning within the simulation department. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage individual(s), develop and adhere to budgets, and create simulation plans that maximize resource utilization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the simulation team to achieve academic rigor throughout the curriculum.
- Develop and implement effective simulation scenarios to promote student learning outcomes.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of various simulation experiences and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with faculty and leadership to design and enhance simulation experiences for students.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Associate's degree may also be considered).
- 5-10 years of experience in nursing education or a related field.
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
- PREFERRED: RN degree, SIM experience.
