Job Summary

The Banquet Set-up Attendant is responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality in banquet functions. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and clean up banquet functions, including tables, chairs, and equipment
  • Monitor assigned sections during events to ensure all patrons are served
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond promptly to customer needs and requests
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and treat others with respect and consideration
  • Adhere to safety and security procedures and report any potentially unsafe conditions
  • Present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience
  • Meet the demands of the work schedule and be available to work outside of regularly scheduled hours as needed
Requirements
  • Three to six months related experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language
  • Ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret and follow policies and procedures
