Job Title: CVOR Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing. As a CVOR Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of cardiovascular operating rooms.

Job Summary:

The CVOR Technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and assisting surgeons during procedures. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
  • Maintain a sterile environment by following proper cleaning and disinfection protocols
  • Assist surgeons during procedures by handing instruments and supplies as needed
  • Participate in department on-call schedule to ensure 24/7 coverage
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or 3 years recent experience working as a surgical technician in an acute care setting
  • Current CPR provider card
  • Minimum of eighteen months of CVOR recent experience or completed clinical orientation specific to the surgical care of the open-heart patient population
