**About the Role:**

We are looking for a skilled Medication Aide to join our interdisciplinary team at Emerald Nursing & Rehab Brookside.

As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medications, observing and documenting changes in residents' conditions, and maintaining a clean and organized medication storage area.

**Responsibilities Include:**

  • Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with facility protocols and physician orders.
  • Observe and document changes in residents' conditions, including vital signs and any adverse reactions to medications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized medication storage area.

**Requirements:**

  • Current certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) as required by Nebraska regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional relevant training and passing of a medication aid course lasting 40 hours along with a state-approved exam are required.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment, is preferred but not required.
