Medical Assistant

This role is a vital part of the healthcare team at Isaiah House, providing medical support and care to clients in a residential and outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and document vital signs, withdrawal scores, and CLIA-waived testing such as blood glucose measurement.
- Assist nurses in obtaining information and provide support with self-administration of client medication.
- Ensure medical rooms are clean and maintain inventory of first aid products and OTC medications.
- File medical papers on current and discharged clients and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Requirements:
- Current, valid, and unrestricted license, diploma, or certification as a Medical Assistant, CMA, SRNA, or CNA.
- At least 2 years of experience with license/certification and knowledge of recovery, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
