Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Printer Operations Specialist to join our team at Beacon Hill in Norcross, GA. As a Printer Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for operating printers and mail machines, troubleshooting issues, performing maintenance, preparing reports, managing inventory, workflows, document assembly, and packaging.

Daily Duties:

  • Operate computer peripheral equipment like printers, mail processing machines, and support equipment under senior staff guidance.
  • Address basic equipment jams and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare production control reports as directed by senior operators or supervisors.
  • Manage clerical tasks related to inventory and product control using automated or manual methods.
  • Use computer terminals to manage work queues, post information, and respond to messages.
  • Assemble documents, apply postage, and package items manually as needed.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a data center or print center is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of computer peripheral hardware or a willingness to learn is required.
  • Strong math skills are essential for maintaining product controls.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clarify complex concepts.
  • Strong project management skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000, depending on experience.
