Job Summary:
We are seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to join our team at Clean Harbors in Kimball, NE. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for analyzing samples to determine their chemical and physical properties using chromatography and spectroscopy techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis of facility samples using GC, GCMS, ICP, and various analytical laboratory instruments
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Properly manage waste generated as a result of analytical procedures
- Log samples electronically into lab database
- Manage Lab Supply Room and sample storage
- Assist Chemists as necessary
Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- College Level Chemistry Class Completion
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (or related science) preferred
- Prior experience in a laboratory setting
- Excellent communication, organization, and quantitative skills
- Proficiency with computer applications
