At Comfort Systems USA, we are seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Installation Specialist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

About the Role:

This position involves supporting large-scale commercial and industrial projects by installing plumbing systems, including copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping materials. Our ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in commercial plumbing, a valid/current plumbing license, and Medical Gas Certification or the ability to obtain it. Additionally, they should possess strong leadership skills, with experience leading and coaching apprentices if applicable.

Responsibilities:
  • Install plumbing systems, including underground/rough ins to trim outs on commercial and industrial construction projects.
  • Process business billings through the financial system.
  • Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, or other liquids.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site.
  • Installation of various piping types.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of commercial plumbing experience depending on level (Apprentice, Journeyman, Master).
  • Valid/current plumbing license.
  • Medical Gas Certification, or ability to obtain, preferred.
  • Experience leading and coaching apprentices if Journeyman or above.
  • OSHA 10 hour certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation, and initiative.

Working Conditions:

Frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, humidity, rain, snow, wind, and sunlight. Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 75lbs. Use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls is required. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
