We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Director to join our team at AbleForce, Inc. in San Diego, CA.

About the Role

This is a permanent position working four days a week onsite. As an IT Infrastructure Director, you will be responsible for leading hands-on and strategic technology initiatives to enhance our IT infrastructure, aligning with evolving client needs and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the deployment and management of IT systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, utilizing advanced threat detection and data protection strategies.
  • Manage the design and execution of IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades and network optimizations.
  • Establish vendor partnerships and negotiate procurement of cutting-edge hardware and software solutions.
  • Drive technology innovation through the adoption of emerging tools and trends to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks.
  • Lead IT governance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Mentor and manage high-performing IT teams, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate IT budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with LAN and WAN configuration, setup, and troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience with O365, Windows Servers, and supporting technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with networking technologies and tools, such as Cisco Meraki.
  • Proven experience providing excellent exceptional service directly to end-users and/or customers.
  • Industry certifications are highly preferred (ITIL, CISSP, MCP, MCSA/MCSE, CSSA, CCNA, VCP).
  • Demonstrated expertise in IT infrastructure management, including network architecture and hybrid environments.
  • Proficient in cybersecurity tools, CrowdStrike preferred, as well as cybersecurity methodologies, including risk assessments, penetration testing, and data encryption.
  • Extensive experience with IT governance, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Proven ability to manage IT vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for enterprise-level solutions.
  • Skilled in implementing monitoring tools and optimizing systems for enhanced performance and reliability.
  • Knowledgeable in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and other virtualization technologies.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing IT teams.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategic IT roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Familiarity with advanced IT service delivery frameworks, including ITIL and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to drive technological advancements and ensure competitive service offerings in the market.

Please note that this is a permanent position with a salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience. The estimated salary reflects the cost of living in San Diego, CA, and is based on industry standards for similar roles.
