This role involves working with students who have communication disorders in an elementary school setting. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in speech-language pathology and current state licensure (ASHA certification preferred). Experience in school settings is beneficial but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Speech and Language Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' communication needs.
  • Therapy Services: Provide individualized therapy sessions to support students' language development and communication skills.
  • IEP Development: Collaborate with educators and families to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that cater to students' unique needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

Working Conditions

  • The position is full-time, up to 37.5 hours per week, with a competitive salary ranging from $50-$65 per hour.
  • The caseload consists of students with mild/moderate and general education needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A master's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Current state licensure (ASHA certification preferred).
  • Experience in school settings is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
