Job Responsibilities
The Petroleum Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, traveling to client locations, and performing various tasks such as volume measurement, temperature measurement, sampling, and visual inspections on lines, pumps, manifolds, shore tanks, rail cars, tank trucks, barges, and ships.
Requirements & Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience as a petroleum inspector
- Measurement and lab experience
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- No fear of heights
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs for shore tanks
- Experience with volume measurement, temperature measurement, and sampling of commodity materials
- Valid driver's license and reliable driving record (required)
- Must have or be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
