Job Description

In this role as a Low Voltage Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for designing integrated low-voltage systems, calculating electrical power loads, and determining UPS requirements. You will also design single-line diagrams and complete sets of construction documents.

Your assignments will have objectives that require investigation of many variables. You will need to independently perform low-voltage technology system/electrical engineering assignments with broad general instruction from the Project Manager as to the results expected.

You will write specifications covering all low-voltage technology system matters, perform reviews, and work directly with owners as part of the project team. Additionally, you will assist other designers, project coordinators, or technicians as needed and be responsible for work in all phases of the low-voltage technology design process.

You will conduct QA/QC on the work of other project coordinators or technicians as needed and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in low-voltage system design.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Preferred qualifications include RCDD certification, familiarity with MS Project, MS Visio, and Autodesk, as well as preference given to local candidates.
