About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated VP of Finance who will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of Brinqa, ensuring the development and execution of effective financial strategies, financial planning and accurate reporting.

This role will be crucial in managing our financial operations, optimizing payment processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

As a key member of the executive team, you will provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, evolve and mature the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
  • Manage high-performing accounting team and review financial statements
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for executive leadership
  • Provide business partner support and collaborate with key business leaders
  • Own development of materials for management reviews, reporting and board meetings
  • Oversee risk management processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related fields
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA, CMA or MBA
  • Knowledgeable about SaaS company business model dynamics and key metrics
  • Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment
