Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team at McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center.

About the Role:

  • Under the supervision of the lead MRI technologist, the department director, and interpreting physician, performs computer-assisted scanning procedures in MRI.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various computer programs, scanning protocols, and coils needed for each case, as well as proper administration/monitoring of IV contrast and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Properly position patients for scans.
  • Administer and monitor IV contrast as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment during scans.
  • Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current ARRT registry or ARMRIT certification.
  • Oregon State licensure.
  • Advanced registry in MRI required within one year.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least one year of experience in MRI, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Ability to work without supervision, be motivated, and a self-starter.
  • Strong interpersonal relations skills and high sensitivity to the needs of others.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Hourly base rate: $35.37 - $53.48.
  • 40 hours per week plus rotating call dates.
