Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Aide to join our team at Amedisys. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide personalized care and support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for patients.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, hygiene, and toileting.
  • Prepare and serve meals, and assist with light homemaking tasks.
  • Document patient progress and report any changes in patient status to the care team.
  • Follow care center procedures for infection prevention and control, hazardous waste management, and safety measures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current state certification as a nurse assistant.
  • CNA experience within the last two years.
  • Current CPR certification.
