Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist PRN to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Health System in Ontario, Oregon. As a CT Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing CT scans on patients of all ages, adhering to approved protocols, radiation safety, and established exam indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients of all ages, following approved protocols and radiation safety guidelines.
  • Maintain knowledge of CT equipment and instruments/supplies to ensure high-quality exams.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of requested exams to assist radiologists.
  • Schedule and obtain patient history.
  • Provide effective internal and external patient communication, consistent with age and mental capacity.
  • May travel between SAHS sites.
Requirements
  • Registered as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network is required at hire, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS.
