Mercy Hospital Perry is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Unit.

Job Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse to provide patient care in our Med/Surg Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of advocacy and a positive outlook, with a commitment to delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
  • Coordinate the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
