Unit OverviewThe Telemetry Unit at our facility is a 31-bed unit that provides care to patients with various medical conditions, including post-pacer, hemodialysis, and cardiac patients. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with various medical conditions, including post-pacer, hemodialysis, and cardiac patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Document patient care and progress in the medical record.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A current RN license in the state of employment.
- At least 1 year of experience in a Telemetry Unit setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
