Job Title: Material Handler - Logistics Coordinator

Location: North Charleston, SC

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our team at a growing facility in North Charleston. This role requires the ability to read a tape measure for pulling materials, operate various types of forklifts and pallet jacks, and perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Read a tape measure for pulling materials accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate different types of forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively.
  • Follow shipping schedules and stage materials ready for shipment.
  • Stage products within specific areas based on drawings and instructions.
  • Perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks as needed.
  • Handle inventory control and logistics with precision and attention to detail.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including scheduling and staging.
  • Inventory management skills, including tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to follow shipping schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in staging products and managing inventory.
  • Forklift operation skills, including safety procedures and maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred experience with Combilift, but not required.
  • Proficiency in using a tape measure and other measuring tools.
  • Material handling expertise, including heavy lifting and general labor tasks.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $19.50 - $21.00 per hour, based on industry standards and location. As an employee of Aerotek, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, and more.
