About the Role

Haven Behavioral Healthcare is seeking aRegistered Nurse to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

This position involves working closely with patients to assess their risk of danger to themselves or others, intervening appropriately in behavioral crisis situations, and participating in the implementation of individualized plans of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients for risk of danger to self or others and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Participate in the implementation of individualized plans of care, working closely with patients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide patient education and support, identifying learning needs and developing strategies to address them.
  • Facilitate educational and activity groups, recommending alternative activities based on patient functioning level and treatment plan.
  • Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians, assuming the role of Charge Nurse as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a preference for one year of acute psychiatric experience.
