Infection Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Prevention Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining our Infection Prevention and Control program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement infection prevention strategies to minimize the acquisition and spread of infection in patients and personnel
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to educate and train staff on infection prevention best practices
- Conduct research studies to identify and address infection control issues
- Provide expert consultation and guidance on infection prevention and control matters
- RN required, with a Bachelor's Degree and current CT License in good standing
- At least 3 years of experience in nursing, clinic laboratory, or epidemiology
- Certified in Infection Control is strongly preferred
- Full-time position with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some weekend availability
