Position Summary

The primary role of the drafting function at the entry level.

Essential Job Functions
  • Utilizes project drafting standards and adheres to plans and schedules.
  • Uses CAD equipment and techniques.
  • Makes detail drawings from rough sketches involving intricate calculations and the application of fundamental engineering principles.

Direction Received
  • Works under general direction of discipline supervisor in accordance with specific instructions regarding project deadlines, priorities, and budget constraints. Finished work is reviewed.

Qualifications

Position Minimum Education

Junior or Senior Year in HS or equivalent certificate.

Minimum Lic/Cert

Drafter IV HS Diploma or equivalent certificate.
