Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Card Processing and Technical Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end technical operations of debit and credit card servicing and processing, including ordering new cards, replacement and reissue of cards, and card maintenance. You will also handle cut-off time and stand-in processing to ensure smooth card transactions, support various card services campaigns, and daily card file transmissions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for technical oversight of debit and credit card servicing and processing.
  • Handle cut-off time and stand-in processing for smooth card transactions.
  • Support various card services campaigns to increase use and attract new membership.
  • Responsible for supporting daily card file transmissions to ensure all processes are functional.
  • Respond to member inquiries on card products and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Stay current with the latest updates on card products and maintain knowledge of applicable procedures and regulations.
  • Develop, apply, and evaluate policies and procedures for the department.
  • Develop, assess, and complete monthly department reports.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum acceptable credit review required.
  • Strong background in both technical and business aspects of card processing.
  • Maintain proficiency in basic computer skills operation in a Windows environment, with intermediate to expert level Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including maintaining positive relationships and excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and adapt to changes.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret data and understand complex information.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and make timely decisions.
