Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Environmental Services Attendant to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As an Environmental Services Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect offices, patient rooms, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas, and any other areas that require attention.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office space.
- Clean light fixtures, ceilings, and other environmental equipment.
- Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in environmental services or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
