Job Summary

Southeastern Tool and Die, a family-owned manufacturer in Aberdeen, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to support our financial functions.

Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Processing customer invoices daily in Epicor and customer portals, ensuring timely payment and adherence to customer requirements
  • Managing vendor invoices received via email and mail, verifying accuracy and processing payments promptly
  • Collaborating with the purchasing department to order supplies and create purchase orders in Epicor
  • Providing exceptional customer service by interacting with other departments and stakeholders to resolve queries and issues
  • Tracking office supply usage and reordering as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient work environment
  • Maintaining accurate records and files as determined by the supervisor, including retrieving U.S. mail daily and distributing it accordingly
  • Preparing and paying use tax according to state guidelines on a monthly basis
  • Resolving invoice/receiving discrepancies with the receiving department and/or vendors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
