Motor Vehicle Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Lead to join our team at Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder's Office. Key Responsibilities- Assist customers at the counter, by telephone, and mail, providing accurate and complete information.
- Record, scan, and process documents into Colorado's DRIVES financial vehicle database.
- Work with customers to resolve complaints or questions in a professional and tactful manner.
- Lead and support new and developing employees, delivering on-the-job support and communicating best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on state, federal, and local statutes, policies, and guidelines, incorporating new developments into on-the-job sharing with peers.
- Lead long and short-term projects, as assigned by the Motor Vehicle Supervisor, such as providing support to other motor vehicle specialists, coordinating service coverage, and ensuring goals and workloads are being met.
- Any equivalent combination of education and work experience that satisfies the requirements of the job.
- Three years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes continued education and/or relevant certifications, bilingual or American Sign Language skills, and at least five years of motor vehicle registration experience.
Work is generally confined to a standard office environment. The position requires occasional lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing up to 20 pounds, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, reaching, crawling, and crouching while performing office or work duties.
Constant use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of automated office machinery or equipment. Visual capacity enabling constant use of computer or other work-related equipment.
