Security Protector

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at Wailea Beach Resort - Marriott Maui. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.

1. Patrol all areas of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff.
2. Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system.
3. Respond to accidents, contact EMS or administer first aid/CPR as required.
4. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations.
5. Notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents.
6. Defuse guest/employee disturbances.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No related work experience is required, but a background in law enforcement or security is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is not required for this position.
• The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and high levels of stress. The associate will be exposed to various weather conditions and may be required to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $57,558.80, based on an hourly rate of $27.87 per hour.
