Job Summary:
Maine Immigrant & Refugee Services is seeking a Youth Program Coordinator to support the development, oversight, and facilitation of youth programming. The successful candidate will provide age-appropriate activities, academic support, and sports programs for youth, while working closely with the Youth Program Supervisor and other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement youth programming, including activities, games, and educational workshops.
- Provide academic support and sports programs for youth, including homework assistance and sports coaching.
- Work closely with the Youth Program Supervisor and other team members to ensure effective program implementation.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, intake, and case plans.
- Attend all agency training and meetings as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Targeted job-related education and experience, including a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification and reliable transportation.
- Direct experience supervising school-aged children and developing youth programming.
- Adaptability, flexibility, teamwork, and high-level communication skills.
