Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Innovative Systems Group. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for sourcing parts, tools, and services, as well as negotiating contracts with vendors.

About the Role:

This is a long-term contract position that offers a competitive salary of $24.50 per hour, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced procurement professionals looking for a new challenge.

Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing parts, tools, and services from reputable suppliers
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors to secure the best possible prices
  • Tracking inventory levels and reordering goods when necessary
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop strategic sourcing plans

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Buyer/procurement experience (highly preferred)
  • Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors
