About the Position

This is a unique opportunity to join the USC Brain Health Network as a Neuropsychologist. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to both research and teaching activities within the department. The Neuropsychologist will be responsible for providing direct patient care, reviewing clinical assessment data, and making recommendations regarding patient care and care planning. They will also collaborate with Primary Care Physicians and Behavioral Neurologists to ensure that USC Brain Health Network patients receive optimal and coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct innovative research in the field of neuropsychology with a focus on brain health and language recovery, utilizing neuroimaging tools and AI methodologies to drive research outcomes.

• Collaborate with colleagues within the department and across disciplines to foster a multidisciplinary approach to research.

• Provide direct care and consultation for patients referred to the USC Brain Health Network, reviewing clinical assessment data and making recommendations regarding patient care and care planning.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Neuropsychology or a related field.

• Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience at the university level.

• Experience in securing research grants.

• Familiarity with interdisciplinary research collaborations.

• Strong research background with a focus on brain health and language recovery.

• Proficiency in neuroimaging techniques.

• Proven track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.

• Effective communication and teaching skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
