We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at CHI St. Alexius Health. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of patient laboratory results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection following laboratory policies to obtain high-quality specimens for testing.
- Conduct laboratory testing accurately, following laboratory policies, and report results in a timely manner.
- Ensure quality control requirements are met, documented, and prior to patient testing.
- Perform maintenance and calibration on instruments and participate in laboratory quality audits and process improvements.
- Provide laboratory-related support, including order entry, specimen collection inquiries, and proper test codes.
- Aid in creating and maintaining policy and procedure manuals.
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- ASCP National Certification.
- North Dakota Board of Clinical Laboratory Practice license.
- BLS certification.
