Prenatal Educator

Presents and educates on health education programs and services. This includes coordinating and delivering trainings or other educational encounters, assisting in maintaining and updating educational and training resources, and helping to collect and analyze data from classes and programs. Roles in this subfunction also assess and understand the individual needs of trainees, both from a classroom perspective and a broader population perspective.

Listens to, addresses, and seeks performance feedback.
Adapts to and learns from change, challenges, and feedback; demonstrates flexibility in approaches to work.
Assesses and responds to the needs of others to support a business outcome.
Additional Responsibilities:
Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines; follows procedures and policies, and applies data and resources to support projects or initiatives with limited guidance and/or sponsorship.
Collaborates with others to solve business problems; escalates issues or risks as appropriate; communicates progress and information.
Supports the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations.
Identifies and speaks up for ways to address improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Counseling, Education, Psychology, Nursing, Nutrition or a directly related field, OR Minimum three (3) years of experience in health-related education or a directly related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Written Communication; Data Entry; Computer Literacy; Information Gathering; Business Relationship Management; Conflict Resolution; Presentation Skills
