bJob Summary:/bbrbrBen E. Keith Company is seeking a highly skilled CDL-A driver to join our team. As a CDL-A driver, you will be responsible for performing product deliveries along assigned routes, inspecting vehicle equipment and supplies, and maintaining accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.brbrbKey Responsibilities:/bbrbr* Perform product deliveries along assigned routes and other related duties to guarantee customer satisfaction.br* Inspect vehicle equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, and request service and repairs as needed.br* Assemble orders for timely delivery to customer businesses, ensuring accurate delivery windows for each route stop.br* Place delivered products in various assigned storage locations at each route stop according to customer requests.br* Maintain accuracy of delivered product with no damage due to mishandling.br* Immediately communicate problems to the Transportation Supervisor by phone.br* Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.br* Manage multiple assignments and tasks, ensuring appropriate use of time, equipment, and materials.br* Follow BEK transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety guidelines.br* Comply with traffic laws and obey transportation and traffic procedures.br* Follow transportation policies, DOT regulations, food/personal safety regulations, and company policies and procedures for personnel.br* Remain DOT compliant and aware of DOT changes in guidelines.brbrbRequirements:/bbrbr* Must know and adhere to Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulationsbr* At least 1 year of route driving experience requiredbr* DOT certification requiredbr* Must be at least 21 years oldbr* Valid State Class A CDL license required in state of residencebr* Ability to understand and enforce regulatory guidelinesbr* Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standardsbr* Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new applications/proprietary softwarebr* Excellent verbal and written communication skillsbr* Basic math skills requiredbr* Strong interpersonal skills with multiple levels of organizationbr* Self-motivated; customer-focusedbr* Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skillsbr* Detail-oriented; prioritization; Innovative problem solverbr* Active listening skills; Independent thinking/decision-making skillsbr* Commitment to Ben E.
