About the Role:

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment, handling instruments and equipment, and providing support to nursing and ancillary departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures
  • Handle and transport instruments and equipment
  • Assist with patient transfers and transportation
  • Collect and handle specimens according to policy and procedures

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Training Program
  • One year OR Training or Experience
  • BLS certification
  • Surgical Technologist Certification required for external hires per NJ State Law
