We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse PACU to join our team at Medical City Arlington. As a Post Anesthesia Care Unit recovery RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Our PACU Registered Nurses are dedicated to delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. We offer comprehensive nursing assessments, patient care planning, and education to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

  • You will perform thorough nursing assessments, following standards of care and disease-specific protocols.
  • You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to achieve optimal results.
  • You will provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice.
  • You will provide emotional support and incorporate patient/family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree
