Urologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Urologist to join our team at Tal Healthcare. The ideal candidate will have expertise in robotic surgery and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments and treatments for patients in accordance with clinical pathways and protocols.
  • Provide timely and accurate consults with primary care physicians, surgeons, and radiation oncologists.
  • Promote collaboration and teamwork in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Support the medical center's mission by working in the ambulatory clinic and sharing rotation responsibilities.
  • Adhere to established quality standards and regularly review quality metrics for service line and self.
  • Provide outreach in the community to promote urological services.
  • Utilize electronic medical records to the fullest and demonstrate proficiency.
  • Comply with insurance plan guidelines accepted by the medical center.
  • Ensure timely billing and locking of charts.
  • Attend meetings at the request of the Chairman of Surgery.
  • Provide education to residents and medical students.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for all patients, physician, and staff.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
  • Current New York State License.
  • Graduate of Accredited Medical College.
  • Graduate of Fellowship Program.
  • Ability to perform robotic & general surgery, ESWL.
  • Ability to work in a variety of ambulatory settings.
